UCSI Bunkasai Nite...

Hrm, I think u all will be wondering wat is Bunkasai Nite. Dun worry, I oso dun really noe till I went for the event. Wakakaka... Normal lah~ Neway, since I'm such a good blogger, tis short paragraph will explain the meaning of Bunkasai.

"Bunkasai, also known as Japanese Cultural Festival or "文化祭" in Japanese word, is an annual event held by most schools in Japan at which the students display their everyday achievements. Many people usually visit the cultural festivals just for fun. Food is served, and dances and plays are performed by individual volunteers or clubs. Besides, Bunkasai is intended to enrich people’s lives by increasing social interaction. It is also the opportunity for students to see what life is like in other schools/universities".

AniMac Bunkasai Official Site., 2009. What is Bunkasai? Available from: http://animac-bunkasai.blogspot.com/2009/01/what-is-bunkasai.html. [Accessed 11th April 2009]

Thaipusam...

On the 7th of Feb, we joined the Thaipusam celebration. Finally, we got to go to Batu Caves! Wohooo, I've always wanted to see for myself how the Hindus celebrate tis festival. It always fascinates me how they're able to endure the journey of traveling so far to reach the temple, while carrrying offerings with them. Of course, some of them pierced their body, too! Here are some of the piles of photos we, ahem, to be precise, Reddy took. Hehehe.. I forgot to bring camera bah..

Tada! Tis is my ticket!

Special KTM operating to fetch ppl to n fro Batu Caves during Thaipusam.

We can't stop ourselves from taking pics the moment we step out of the train.
