Final year project...

Yeap, without me myself realising it, I'm in the final year of my course ady and thus, have to do my thesis. At 1st, I'm really confused as to which title to choose bcos all of it seems to be so bloody hard! But in the end, we (Buffy, Mommy n I) finalise it to 3 choices: 1st - Extraction of DNA from various types of (i) processed meat, (ii) liquid n semi-liquid, or (iii) snacks for the purpose of PCR-based detection of pork adulteration; 2nd - Characterisation of bacteria from hot springs in M'sia for potential commercial application and; 3rd - Detection of Shiga Toxin-Producing Escherichia coli and E.coli 0157:H7 from livestock.

Actually, we wanted to choose another title in the 1st plc, which is Antimicrobial activities of Momordica charantia. However, since a lot of ppl in our batch seems to have chosen tis title, we change to the one related to hot spring. It seems to be quite easy, though I might say it'll be a bit boring. No offense, but I prefer working in the lab. Muahahaha...

Today, Dr Renee, head of Biotech in Sch of Applied Sc, briefed us on our final year project b4 she release the title to fellow students. My oh my, we got our 1st choice! Yes, WE means Buffy, Mommy n I got the SAME title. Wooohooo!! I was very worried tat I might be doing the project alone wif other ppl tat I barely noe, or even worse, din get all the 3 choices (Ended up doing survey or wat). Summore, our supervisor is Ms. Alice, which is a nice lecturer (Though we wanted Ms. Lim) and we've known her since 1st year. Oh well, never mind, as long as I dun get Ms. V or Ms. P, it'll be great!

Reading Pinky's post makes me miss our sisterhood. It was much more fun when we were younger. Ahem, I'm not old, just older now, ok? *Quoted n learnt from Marchy* And yes, we've become mature and each of us have gone our separate ways. Not to mention Marchy is leaving us soon to continue her study in UK. Yet, another ji mui is leaving. I hope 1 day we can all gather and the 7 of us can do really crazy n stupid stuff again. Yes, AGAIN. Hehehehehe...

Remember we used to say tat if possible, we're gonna get married on the same day? Seems like it's impossible now since Baby is gonna get married soon, IF & ONLY IF she dun go n pull stunt again like last time. Suddenly say tat she wanna break up wif Tik, ended up we all having 'ji muiz on9 meeting'. Wakakaka... Dun play-play oh, Baby.

Sum of us r working now, while the rest r going to graduate soon. Wonder wat'll happen when all of us have our own family? Wakaka... It seems that all the ji muiz start their BOOK ady, except me. Oooh, maybe Snowy oso same like me, but she owez diam-diam ubi berisi de. Ask her anything abt relationship oso say "no". Wonder if it's true... Haha, if I'm confusing u all, the BOOK I'm referring to is regarding our relationships. Baby's book so far has been the longest one, followed by Octopy. The rest, errr, it's either got few preview or chapter.

Neway, I hope tat all of us will excel in wateva we're doing, although I do feel 'sien' recently. Not oni did I lose my appetite, I oso seem to lose my feelings. To be precise, I'm feeling numb rite now. Wateva tat I'm doing is meaningless to me. It's like a routine ady, I can't help but move on...

Yeap, I really enjoyed my time bec in hometown. How? By indulging myself wif all the nice food in Sdk!! Yippeee!! Err, pls dun ask how much weight I've gained, ok? All the food seems to taste heavenly. Enuff said, let the mouth-watering pics let ur saliva drop... Lemme tell u all 1st, all the food's name r mostly in Cantonese cos I dunno the English name for it. Ssssoooo sorry!! Hehehee...

I wonder wat is it called oso. But dun judge a book by it's cover. It may not look nice but it taste great!

BBQ party...

At 1st, I myself oso dunno whether the party's on or not. But in the end, it's ON!! Yeah!! We can't help but do last min preparation bcos of the stupid final exam. Haih... But nevertheless, we're last min kings n queens, so everything turn out just fabulous.

There're few of us which went to Whally's hse 1st. They help to prepare food n stuff for the event. Then, the rest of us will join them at ard 7 sumthing. Well, the plan is: we'll meet up near UCSI at 6 pm, mana tau we all wait till almost 7 pm! After tat, we went round n round n round till BTS lrt station to fetch Panda and Victor from the station. Eih, 3 cars eh... We can't help but follow our fren's car in front cos we dunno the way to Whally's hse! At tis time, poor Floppy was saying "I wanna pee!". Pity her, she's our driver n yet have to suffer like tis! Neh, thx to those 2 ppl la. We already swear tat they'll be barbequed alive later. *Evil laugh*

The moment I reach Whally's hse, I'm already hungry. Summore, the fire's taking sum time to start. So... I'll be the initiator to start digging the food on the table! Ahem, they prepared sum mee hoon n fries, together wif fruits, ok? I dun eat raw food. As soon as the fire starts, let's get the party started!!

At ard 12 sumthing, they all left. So, oni a few of us stayed bec: A total of 6 gals (including the host) and 1 guy. They all continue playing mahjong while I sit there nicely n watch TV. Wat to do? Of all the things, the oni thing tat I dunno how to play is mahjong. Haiz... We all fool ard till morning, yes, morning!

At 6 am, I decided to take a quick nap. Snowy went into the guest room to sleep 1st, oni then I join her. The rest of them stayed in the living room n chat till I wake up at 7 am. One hr's nap after 1 whole day! Not bad hor? Summore,the very next day, I went out to Sg Wang and Times Square. Just feel like walking ard rather than staying in the room.

Overall, the party's great. I'm looking forward to more activities like tis. It makes our dull life more happening n fun!
